I awoke this morning to find this lovely darling listed on our MLS.

The home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms... and a whole lotta junk. Once again, I'm stunned that anyone on earth (let alone a licensed real estate agent) would actually think that it was necessary to include the photo of the kitchen. But then it got worse with the backyard shot.

Even if they were trying to appeal to someone who was going to tear the place down, that picture isn't do anything but ending up on a website like ours.

I suppose the only good thing that can come from posting photos like this on your listing is that it REALLY let's buyers know when they are getting themselves into.

And I'll blow this adorable little bugger down. My God! I don't know what to say about this ACTUAL listing at XXXXX Lou Dillon Ave. in Los Angeles. I'm willing to bet the listing agent won't have much to say either. But, hey, it's a bargain at $167,000 for a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom what-cha-ma-call-it.

Does the House Come With The Turkey and Duck?

I swear to you, we don't make this up! Twice in one day during a search for a single family home for my client and look what I found in Silverlake. Live Turkeys and Ducks and Chickens at the listing for XXX Rosemount Ave. in Los Angeles. Again, the listing agent obviously feels he is serving his clients best interest by including photos of their "pets" (or dinner).

Pinch me... I must be dreaming!

Oh boy... we took a break thinking the foreclosure market had slowed down and short sales practically have disappeared. BUT the hideous real estate listing photos continue! Apparently, the listing agent, Andrew Cruz, believes the photo of this kitchen at XXX N Lake St. in Los Angeles will appeal to someone. Anyone?

Okay, this beauty was brought to my attention by a world famous diva. Folks, I don't even have to hunt these down - the general public is already finding them and bringing these real estate listing photo train wrecks to my attention!

Listed at $635,000, this property is described on the MLS as follows:

Amazing 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home on an over 4,000 SF lot in Los Feliz area. The two story home
will definitely stand out when passing by! The home has an attached 2 car garage, large windows to give lots of natural light and a back yard area surrounded by lots of trees and plants!

What they forgot to mention in the description was the gorgeous, recently cleaned living room and the bathroom fit for a king. King Kong.
